The only thing that get's moved into the Overwrite file is the SkyprocPatchers folder.ĮDIT: After playing around with it for a bit, (I.E turning off the Reproccer to actually see if anything changes), I suppose it is doing something. I'm not under the impression that it does, but no other files are generated elsewhere (namely, the Reproccer.esp) as far as I can tell. The Cache Directory dooen't think thats uses much space mines at 55MB, you can move that to HDD if the size is too big for your SSD. Putting the Archives on a Hard Drive, saving SSD space, for games, is a no brainer though, just do it.Ĭlick on Settings Icon (Spanner and Screwdriver) then tick the Advanced box in General Tab to access the path chooser and set the path you want. So if you start moving files about you must deal with that, Using 7-Zip's File Manager to move files will work, if windows complains the path is too long. MO can handle these extra long paths just fine, but Windows can't!
UPDATE TES5EDIT MOD ORGANIOZER MOD
Adding the long paths, some mod files also have, can cause issues. Why do this? to reduce the issues windows throws up with very long paths.ĭ:\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim\ModOrganizer\Mods\Įach Mod Name is another folder with the exactly same name you used in MO. I prefer to have my MO programs here not in the game folder, but you can do this just for the Mods, if you want.
UPDATE TES5EDIT MOD ORGANIOZER MODS
Note: Mods are game files and should be on SSD, archives are not used after Mod is made.

I would do the same to Mods I have a Dedicated Games SSD and use Naming the Game as a extra Folder so All MO Archives are in one place, so havingĬan have sepaerate folders for convenience but they are just Oblivion and Skyrim renamed to MO. However if you use an SSD for your Games, I reccommend moving them to a Data HDD. They can be manually transferred into the Downloads Folder, by Default thats in My last playthrough (Before I took a crack at MO) gave me the vanilla models for some of the weapons unless they were in their static holder, and the different dragon types added by DD were a no show. Really, the only thing I'm weary about is getting the ReProccer back up and running, but I'm worried about Deadly Dragons and Unique Uniques freaking out on my again. Is it okay to copy all of the zip/rar/ect files from the nexus mod folder into MO? I'm kind of taking it slow for the moment and would rather see if that approach works as opposed to redownloading all of my files. Quick question that I'm not sure was covered in the videos. *Do not take this as definite, as Gopher may change them
UPDATE TES5EDIT MOD ORGANIOZER SERIES
I may also do a video about using MO on FNV with HUD mods, but that is not definate and will not be soon.īut the series is open ended because I feel there will be new mods that might need covering." "After that I am not 100% sure what the plan is but I know I will be doing one video about SkyRe and the Reproccer, one video about FNIS, etc.
